Have you ever been bothered by things like the often disconnect between scores given to games and what’s actually said in the review text? I feel like it’s something that sometimes crops up in video game reviews. Scores are important; they should give you an idea of what the overall tone of the review is. However, what I’d like to do here is talk about games without having to worry about scoring systems. The reviews that I write for this blog exist just to discuss games. I hope to look at games and try to determine whether the core ideas of the game function effectively. On this blog, I’ll be putting forth my thoughts on recent and current games as well as broader articles on the industry in general. Maybe I’ll write about movies from time to time as well, just for good measure.
